1. Who you are contracting with
KnowMyContract is a service operated by Know My Contract ("Know My Contract", "we", "us"). By using KnowMyContract you are entering into an agreement with Know My Contract.
2. Acceptance
By using KnowMyContract, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
3. Nature of the service
KnowMyContract uses automated language models to summarize, flag, and explain clauses in documents you upload. Outputs are probabilistic and may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. You are responsible for independently verifying anything you rely on.
4. Non-lawyer disclaimer
KnowMyContract does not create an attorney-client relationship. No output, report, negotiation draft, or chat response constitutes legal advice. Do not use KnowMyContract as a substitute for a qualified lawyer.
5. Acceptable use
You must own or have permission to analyze the documents you upload. Do not upload material that infringes rights, contains malware, or violates applicable law. We may rate-limit or suspend accounts that abuse the service.
6. Payments, reseller, and refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms.

7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Know My Contract, its owners, employees, and vendors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid Know My Contract in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Know My Contract against claims arising from your use of the service, the documents you upload, and decisions you make based on KnowMyContract output.
9. Termination
You can stop using KnowMyContract at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
